My sweater feels dry soon after currently being washed from the washing machine?

Qusetions: im actually puzzled..i have this sweater that i freshly purchased, so i wished to ensure that i washed it perfectly (it's vintage as well so yeah)

i intentionally didnt set as well numerous apparel from the machine, however when i took the sweater out, it felt dry. i washed it once more, with only a handful of other objects of garments however the exact matter occurred, despite the fact that all my other apparel felt damp.

does it have anything to carry out with a specific style of yarn or material?
